It’s been a while now since the last Kevin Everett update. I just read today that he has been walking with assistance as part of his rehab program. Here is a quote from the story at ESPN.com:

Wonderful news has just been released about Kevin Everett. Doctors plan to have Kevin transfered to a Houston hospital on Friday where he will begin the next step in rehabilitation. Word is that Everett is recovering so quickly now that he is expected to walk within merely a matter of weeks now, possibly days.
