jabari_greer01.jpgAlright! A Bills player finally won something! On Wednesday, fourth year cornerback Jabari Greer, was named the AFC Defensive Player by the NFL. That’s quite the honor. Greer had what turned out being the game winning play in Sunday’s victory over the Jets. He intercepted Pennington at the Jets’ 25 yard line to set up the drive that ended with Trent Edwards’ first touchdown.

This is just another good momentum boost for Buffalo as they head into their first Monday Night Football game in seven years. It’s been 13 years since MNF came to Buffalo. It’ll be a big night, and we’ve got the AFC Defensive Player of the Week on our side, nice.
