Nall Re-Signed, Poz Out, Everett Improving

JP Losman will be out at least 2 weeks with his knee injury. In need of a backup QB for Trent Edwards, the Bills brought back Craig Nall. The 28 year old quarterback has been on the Bills roster before, and still lives in Buffalo. He had some impressive workouts before the season with some teams, so he was an easy pick up.

Rookie linebacker, Paul Posluszny, is indeed out for the season. In an effort to get enough players on the defensive roster, the Bills signed Jerametrius Butler. Butler is a 6 year veteran cornerback. In 2004 he played for the Rams and had his best season by far with 5 interceptions and 79 tackles. To make room for Butler on the roster, running back Josh Scobey was released. Scobey saw his most playing time with the Arizona Cardinals, and hadn’t seen any action with Buffalo. The Bills are luckily still pretty deep at running back.

Now for the happy ending. The latest Kevin Everett news continues to be good news. At the hospital in Houston, Everett was reported to have lifted his right arm slightly and sit up in bed for 4 hours this past weekend. I can’t imagine what it is like to only have that much movement, but right now that is a huge leap for Everett’s condition. His future is still looking much better than originally diagnosed. We’re cheering for you Kevin, keep it up!
