Everett Will Walk Again

Wonderful news has just been released about Kevin Everett. Doctors plan to have Kevin transfered to a Houston hospital on Friday where he will begin the next step in rehabilitation. Word is that Everett is recovering so quickly now that he is expected to walk within merely a matter of weeks now, possibly days.

This really is a miraculous recovery. At first, the matter of his injury was that of paralysis from the neck down, and now he is expected to walk maybe as soon as a month after his devastating injury. Everett lives in Houston during the off season, and will be near friends and family during his rehabilitation. He will still have a lot of work ahead of him just to get back to walking normally, but he is likely to get to that phase some time, which is amazing.
